On August 12, a delegation led by Tan Bingcai, Deputy Director of Guangdong Development Research Center, visited SIE Shunde R&D Headquarters to conduct research, guidance and communication on SIE's digital transformation platform for smart home appliances. At the meeting, in-depth exchanges and discussions were held on the digital transformation and development of the smart home appliance industry cluster.

The market consumption scale is huge, and the regional innovation comprehensive ability remains the first in the country, forming a strong overall competitive advantage in the industry. The smart home appliance industry is listed among the top ten strategic pillar industry clusters in Guangdong Province, and is also a significant part of the high-quality development of Guangdong's manufacturing industry in the 14th Five Year Plan.
In the field of home appliance manufacturing, Shunde, Foshan is known as the "Capital of Home Appliances in China" and is one of the most important smart home appliance industry clusters in Guangdong Province. It has multiple large home appliance manufacturing enterprises such as Midea, Xiaoxiong, and Delma, which once created the legend of "Made in Shunde, Proud of China". However, with the rapid upward development and the global wave of industrial digital transformation, Foshan Shunde, as one of the key areas of Guangdong Province's home appliance industry cluster, faces a new challenge of digital transformation on how to continue high-quality development.
At the meeting, SIE Information introduced the future development of the digital advancement of the home appliance industry from the aspects of the development status, opportunities and digital technology empowerment of the home appliance industry, in combination with its own experience in digital construction in the home appliance industry for more than 10 years. At the same time, SIE reported and shared the operation ideas of smart home appliance industry cluster, and transformed from manufacturing upgrading to industry+service industry upgrading mode with "open business application scenario and industrial software ecology".
