Activity Report | SIE Appears at the Semiconductor Intelligent Manufacturing Forum to Deeply Analyze the Application of Industrial Big Data in the Semiconductor Industry
On June 5, the 2024 World Semiconductor Conference and Nanjing International Semiconductor Expo were grandly opened. The conference was hosted by the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Jiangsu Province, co organized by the China Electronics Information Industry Development Research Institute, and SIE Information was invited to participate in the "Semiconductor Intelligent Manufacturing Forum".

At the semiconductor intelligent manufacturing forum, Dr. Wang Qushu, the product leader of SIE Industrial Big Data, delivered a keynote speech entitled "SMI: big data in electronic industry&AI application". As a senior expert in the field of industrial data intelligence, he analyzed the development trends of chain competition, ecological synergy, and horizontal integration in China's semiconductor and electronics industry in a simple and understandable manner. He emphasized that the core competitiveness of future enterprises will be rooted in an advanced management model with multiple levels, regions, bases, and formats.
Later, Dr. Wang described in detail that SIE, together with Huawei, with the support of the National Industrial Software Alliance, has developed a set of epoch-making industrial software packages for the electronic industry chain of China using the cutting-edge iDME platform. This software uses Huawei MBM-F's business template components, combined with iDME platform's model extension and low code technology, to quickly respond to the constantly changing needs of enterprises.
Compared with traditional industrial software, this product has built a scenario based toolchain system through the "platform+industry application" model, which not only achieves data-driven and information collaboration, but also supports flexible selection of apps through model driven component-based design. This innovative solution has been successfully applied in dozens of enterprises in the electronics industry, greatly promoting the development of China's electronics industry.
