The China Business Industry Research Institute predicts that the revenue of industrial software products in China will maintain a growth rate of 10% -15% in the next few years, and will reach 300 billion yuan by 2024.

With the enhancement of manufacturing enterprises' awareness of digital development and the awareness of the importance of industrial management software in production, SIE, which was earlier in this field, has seen its performance rise all the way in recent years and shows an accelerated growth trend.

According to the 2020 annual report released by SIE, the company realized an operating revenue of 1.385 billion yuan from January to December 2020, with a year-on-year growth of 28.79%. The net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was 176 million yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 165.37% and earnings per share of 0.81 yuan. In 2020, the company signed over 1.8 billion new orders, a year-on-year increase of 55%.

Among them, the proportion of intelligent manufacturing business continues to rise, with a total annual operating revenue of 413 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 56.33%. The revenue proportion has increased from 24.58% in the same period of previous years to 29.83%. The gross profit margin of the company's business in this sector has also increased significantly, from 31.56% in the same period last year to 41.03%,

In the first quarter of this year, the company achieved a revenue of 381 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 58.45%, and a net profit attributable to the parent company of 10.8694 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 268.02%. SIE attributed it to the reason of "continuously increasing the sales of self-developed software". SIE also proposed that in 2021, we should strive to double the growth of self-developed software on the basis of 2020. At the same time, we should strengthen in-depth cooperation with ecological partners, constantly connect external resources, share interests with partners, and achieve win-win cooperation.

The establishment of SAP (Xiamen) Digital Supply Chain Innovation Empowerment Center is an important attempt of SIE.
