In the face of the above pain points, the SIE information project team and Gold worked in depth to complete the leap forward breakthrough of SRM system from blueprint design to online operation in six months. The system achieves visual control of the entire process from demand forecasting to financial settlement by building key links such as supplier lifecycle management, sourcing procurement, contract fulfillment, and quality collaboration.
Reviewing the project history, in the demand insight stage, the SIE information project team stationed at the Gord site and conducted more than 60 cross department interviews, covering core business scenarios such as research and development, procurement, quality, etc., based on which, more than 40 management pain points were sorted out, focusing on key needs such as supplier grading, order delivery monitoring, etc. After two rounds of blueprint review, the business logic and system functions were clarified, and the system construction and implementation were immediately launched.
In the system implementation phase, the project team first completes deep integration with ERP and OA systems, builds cross system data exchange channels, and ensures efficient collaboration between business and data flows. Based on the principle of covering all business scenarios, we will simultaneously promote the development of nine core modules, covering key areas such as sourcing, contracts, and mold management. In addition, the project team has designed over 200 test cases to ensure system stability and compatibility. In the online sprint stage at the later stage of the project, SIE Information organized 15 trainings covering more than 300 key users to ensure the standardization of business operations; Simultaneously simulate and promote 30+high-risk scenarios, develop 15 emergency plans in advance, and ultimately achieve smooth switching with zero data loss and zero major failures.
